The Journey Begins for BiPolar Advocacy

Thanks for joining me! Here is the one blogger with the last name no one can pronounce and has the most beautiful language translation. The form is of the latin language where “gracia” means grace or thanks and “deo” means God. Thank God for joining me on the this new journey of Bipolar advocacy. Below is the reason I shifted so swiftly to using my gifts of creative writing and communication skills to “chit & chat chick” on WordPress.com.

On August 7, 2019, I was contacted by David A. Feingold, Ed. D, LCSW for a Guest Speaker engagement at Saginaw Valley State University, named Stigma: Creativity of a BiPolar Artist. I created a rough draft PowerPoint presentation on September 17th, 2019 for his review and approval. His response was quite incredible and shifted the structure of the immediate short and long-term goals I had set for myself.

Here is a PDF of the PowerPoint File.
Rough First Draft 9.18

Mr. Feingold wrote to my e-mail account, heatherdeogracia@gmail.com, account five days ago, October 3, 2019 and my manic mind went branching in wild directions of untapped potential for future explorations.

WOW!!!!!

I’m stunned at your creative prowess. What an amazing Powerpoint. And your color illustrations
are the works of fine literary accompaniments. Thank you for sharing your story so boldly and
honestly. Your life is a documentary waiting to happen. Perhaps a viral YouTube self–production!
You should be a public speaker for Bipolar advocacy…get an agent!!!

Right after this response, I went home and formatted my graphic non-fiction novel into 10 chapter structures and came up with the “elevator pitch” for the book named “Junior Miss.

In “Junior Miss’, based on a true story, Victoria Micallef is a manic high school star recovering from the misery of a broken childhood. With a history of heroic optimism in the face of cruel jokes of other people, she wins the title of “Spirit of Junior Miss” in California by showing talents and exposing her heart on the stage.

By watching videos on YouTube, I really grasped how the next few months would need to be grind into my daily routine. I wake up at 4 a.m. and go to sleep around 11 p.m. and this new productive schedule will work to fill up my free time.

Currently at home, I am an award-winning Fine Studio Artist and Graphic Layout and Designer that completes projects displayed on my website at http://www.heatherdeogracia.com.
